Corporate History

VLCC was established in of 1989 by Vandana Luthra in New Delhi. It was initially a one-stop beauty and weight management center. The company was transformed into a corporate entity in 1996, and was renamed VLCC Health Care Limited. Over the following 4 years VLCC became a network of wellness and beauty clinics. The weight-management programs it offered were recognized by the Indian Medical Association.

VLCC began manufacturing products in the first quarter of 2000. It introduced a variety of products for personal care under various brand names such as Shape Up, Slimmer’s, Natural Sciences and others. It also expanded into other countries such as Nepal, UAE, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. VLCC then set out to establish establishments for beauty and nutrition in India and offer training programs on nutrition and beauty.

In the period 2010-2015, VLCC established more than 200 beauty and wellness centers throughout India and around the world. The company added laser treatment as well as modern dermatology treatments.

Present Status
