Investing.com– One new stock has been added to the Futures and Options ( F&O) ban list on January 12, 2022. This brings the total to four stocks under the ban list. 

  The four stocks include Indiabulls (NSINBF) Housing Finance, RBL Bank (NSRATB), Delta Corp (NSDELT) and Vodafone Idea (NSVODA). After sinking20.5 on Tuesday’s session, the telecom major Vodafone (LONVOD) Idea is the most recent stock to join the F&O ban list of the NSE. 

The four securities are banned for trade under the futures and options member on Wednesday, as they’ve exceeded 95 of the request-wide position limit and shall continue remaining in the ban list until their position falls below 80. 

  While on the Futures and Options ban list, no new/ fresh F&O positions can be bought or vended for the stock (s), differently that dealer gets penalised. Dealers with being positions in that security can decompress their positions. 

 Also, the request-wide position limit is set by the stock exchanges. 

  The NSE directs all guests/ members to trade in the secondary contracts of the forenamed securities only to drop their positions through negativing positions. 

The country’s third-largest telecom player Vodafone Idea profited the telecom relief package on Tuesday, rolled out by the Government, post which the ultimate held a35.8 in Vi, while protagonist group, Vodafone and Aditya Birla Group held a aggregate of46.3 stake in the company.
